Parking Sensors?

Has anyone installed a set of front parking sensors? I know I've read someone on here runs the Curb Alert system.

A few of us here have the Curb-Alert - works well enough for me - I have it mounted in the grill opening right below the first slat. I used to have it below the bumper but one winter in New York ripped it right off after going through some slush/ice/snow. Works much better where it is now. I have it set to beep if I'm within a foot of hitting the bottom.

Is it a necessary item? No, it's basically a luxury that you can get by without, but it has saved my butt a few times already. I picked it up for $125 last year from some Corvette shop.

I'll snap one when I get a chance but its just a 2 inch black box on the grill slat. Not much to see.

The controller and speaker are mounted under the dash by the fusebox out of sight.

From the installs I've seen, it appears that it's really helpful for parking with a curb or object directly in front of the car. Wonder how helpful it'd be for parallel parking on the street. Have you guys seen this mounted on the corners of the bumper? Primarily, the passenger side, front bumper corner to prevent curb rashes when parallel parking?
