Fog upgrade on a Premium
 

When I ordered the car on June 1st, last year (someone else cancelled their order out of the dealer allotment), I ordered a Premium WRB MT + Fog Lights.

I got the car on July 5th, but Subaru had stopped doing dock-side Fog upgrades. So I tried to order a set of fog lights for it, and they came back a couple of days later to say that my vin # isn't compatible with the fog lights (there were some manufacturing changes after about 1200).

Really, I just didn't want the spoiler, and I don't care for climate control, but I did want the fogs.

TL;DR dealership won't order fogs because of vin # incompability.

Any one else with this problem? What do I do?

Don't order the factory fogs. Get the ones for the Outback. Let me look for the thread...

Of course you will need the housings for the fogs, but I am pretty sure the Premium's are pre-wired for fogs.
