Wiring Addendum
Once the wire is in the cabin, it needs to be connected to this harness:

The small red and black wires need to be connected to the red and black wires from the door handle. The harness then plugs into the main easy go control box (see the wiring diagram above). The rest of the harness plugs into nothing, but according to the EasyGo people, it is there to accommodate future upgrades which will allow remote start functionality with smart phones.

@Chaetagnath, I do not seem to have this harness for some reason. Can you please elaborate where exactly you connected the wires coming from the door handle? Did you connect them to the Door lock / Unlock wires on the brain? or on ED2? or somewhere else?

30-cut trunk motor wire (trunk side)
The white wire from the brain is not used.

So I changed that and tapped the fuse box (as described in the DIY) and now it seems to work fine.

@Stormalong, @Chaetagnath; My kit came with 3 relays with sockets. So I will use the one for this purpose. Can you please elaborate what exactly you did.

87 and 86-12 volts constant Did you use 1 fuse tap for this or 2?
85-red and black wire from the brain (trunk release wire) ok
87a-cut trunk motor wire(car side) Not sure what this is, is this on the table below?

That harness plugged directly into the brain, and then the black and red wires are soldered to the wires coming from the handle. Either they have changed the harnesses that come with it and those wires are somewhere else, or they forgot to include it.

The trunk release is the brown one (I think, it's been a while), coming out of pin 4 on the HD1 connector. Basically you have to cut that wire (do it a ways out from the pin to the yourself some slack). Then, the end running into the HD1 connector is the car side, the other other end is the trunk side. I think I only used one fuse tap and just used it as the 12 volt source for both. Just be sure you tap a fuse which is always hot so the trunk will open when the car is off.

@Chaetagnath So, in the above picture, if you can remember where you attached that harness, that would be very helpful.
Maybe this one?:

Also, the guide suggest putting the antenna's in the A pillar, where an airbag exists. Where did you guys place the antennas. I'll open the A pillar cover and see if there is available space away from the airbags.

Chaetagnath 11-24-2014 09:53 PM

As you are looking down on it on that picture, it is connected in the left side, two slots from the top. I think.

XtremeMaC 11-24-2014 10:35 PM

ow wow, I somehow totally put that harness aside because it said GPS module.
Right I have the harness, it mounts to 1st one on the left.
Thanks man! I will add few pictures to anyone interested in this thread I guess over the weekend. couldn't finish it this weekend...

XtremeMaC 11-29-2014 10:53 PM

finished the install... nothing's working... don't quite get why. I've emailed the tech support. will see if they respond...
I'm trying to deduct the bare minimum cabling needed just for the start/stop to work to see if the brain is even functional. should have done it prior soldering. trusted too much that nothing would go wrong... well, at least good soldering practice, and good exercise to fit underneath the steering wheel.
I've taken picture as I went along. once I get it to function *fingers crossed* I'll post few pictures that can be supplementary to the thread.
in the meanwhile do you guys have any suggestions as to what I could try to get things working?

Chaetagnath 11-29-2014 11:48 PM

Hard to say without more info. Does the button light up at all? Have you tested everything with a volt meter to see if there is power running to the brain?

XtremeMaC 12-01-2014 01:10 PM

well stupid me, I had not hooked up the ground :)
now remote start works, start/stop button works.
door lock/unlock does not work. I've checked the cables again and again I'm 100% sure the door lock unlock wires are correct. I'm checking to see if Door Trigger is somehow wrong. it is correct according to the table on OP's post. Scytek seems to be working, mini fuse tap I suppose is correct. I get a little (+) mV reading out of it. Not sure what exactly I need to get there. I'll check the manual.
the horn works so good that I am about to rip it out. annoying as hell trying to figure out the lock/unlock :(
haven't even touched Trunk release yet. not as important at the moment...do I need this to get the door lock/unlock to work? i figured not.. right?

don't really wanna go to the dealer with this. I need to figure out the locks! *sigh*

Does the immobilizer bypass work with your valet keys? My issue is with the immobilizer. Keeps clicking like it's not hooked up. Is there a way to test to see if that piece is possibly dead? I've used my valet and spare key with the same result of the immobilizer constantly clicking and killing my battery.

XtremeMaC 12-01-2014 02:03 PM

well yes. I placed the original valet key into the immobilizer box. then I placed the duplicate key that I had made into the ignition as instructed. did you wrap that coil around the ignition? I first hold it with my hands to see if it was working. after I concur I wrapped it around with electrical tape.

J8boston8j 12-01-2014 02:43 PM

Sure did. I wrapped it and I've held it with the same results. The duplicate key is in the on position right? I've tried it every which way.
