DC Sports exhaust tips

I've seen a few posts about the DC Sports exhaust tips here and there throughout the forum. Some have no issues while others have the bolts rusting severely after only a few months. Anyone else that hasn't posted about them before have them? Any issues? They're so cheap that I'm not worried so much about wasting money, but rather the concern and inconvenience of having to check them very often for rust

mine rusted at the bolts, but i really don't think it matters as long as it stays on, which it does. they're just sitting in the garage now though since i got an axleback.

Just put mine on. Can't tell you if they're rusted yet but it's been raining a lot here.

The bolts will rust. The question is, do you plan to take them off? If not, then it's not a big deal. If you're really concerned, you can get stainless bolts.

The bolts and that clip thing will rust.

Mine's a lease (I know, I know....) so I'd likely want to put the stock tips suck on before returning the car, so they don't try to charge me for it.

A. I don't think they'll care if the tips are different.

B. If they do rust, you can just snap one of the bolts off and remove the tips.

The bolts on mine are very rusted after a northern Ohio winter. One got loose and I was still able to remove and reinstall no problem.

You can have mine for free. Pay shipping and they are yours. Mine showed rust in CA. I have a Perrin CB exhaust
