Me: What do you mean, there's no turbo?
Romie: I'm serious bro, you gotta look at this! No snail looking thing at all!
Me: But it's a Subaru! You talking crazy, next you're gonna say it's not AWD.

Man, that drive home was both epic and exhausting. So many fun (and funny) moments. High speed blast through the Tehachapi Pass, playing with that Lincoln until he lost his nerve in the sweepers. Top speed runs to keep the adrenaline pumping through the night. That gas station guy at Bakersfield who wouldn't stop talking. But of course the best quote of the evening:

Me: Hey Romie, I think your headlight is out.
Romie: Bubblebutt, bub-bub-bub-bub bubblebutt!

Big thanks to:

JR @86_ZN6 for bringing the tent/canopy. What a godsend that was in the 110 degree sun. That was a little scary at the end when the wind picked up but we just barely saved our cars from damage. ;)

Romie @frsguy707 for being a great roomate and being so generous after his lucky streak at the casino, buying us breakfast AND dinner. And pushing that manager until we got the penthouse haha. "We started from the bottom now we here!"

Preston @>(559)< FR-s for being the MVP on the outbound trip with his tools and parts; and taking us around the spots in LV. Sorry we didn't meet up again on the return trip but hope you had a good time with your dad on Father's Day.

Finch @finch1750 for bringing most of the booze haha. And thanks to your gf Crystal for taking photos of us.

And all the other NorCal guys and gals who came and helped represent and wore your NorCal shirts. @NorCalGirl @bignrichlll @omegared19 @VictorKassil @crouchingpinoy dang I hope I didn't forget anyone...

:thanks:

Dude, I just cracked up while sitting at the front desk at work thinking about the bubble butt-headlight out response.Lmao

And that pic caption is hilarious. #nosnailrwd

yeah it's actually pretty easy. You just need one or two spray cans of the plasti dip and then some masking/painters tape. If you want to pick out what color you want and get the dip, I can mask and spray for you. Actually one can is enough for just stripes.

In going to get the red dip and see if I can spray it out of a spray gun. If it works then I'll need your help masking the area off.

I was talking to @MyRx about that... unless you're spraying major body panel coverage I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to do it with a spray gun. For stripes you have to spray it on quick and thick within about 2 min and peel the tape off within a few minutes of spraying for it to work right. You don't want the dip to dry before peeling. So cleaning and prepping the spray gun is a lot of work for minimal usage. If the color you want is available in a spray can, I'd recommend just doing the spray can for stripes only, far more convenient.

Yeah, I does seem like a lot of work for small stripes but I think it will look better. I'll probably buy a can in black if I can't get the red to come out right.
