Frs/brzs needed at Windy City miata club autox

I went to wcmc's auto at boomers stadium in Schaumburg with my s2000. I only saw1 frs but you all should come out and show them how the twins get down!

I've been to a few of theirs this year. Unfortunately a lot of them are on Saturday's I work. They run a good event as long as you get passed the long awkward driver's mtg!

I don't know what takes longer, the driver meeting, or the times to be posted up online lol. But yeah, real great people and they really try to help you out anyway they can.

I wanna play, when is the next auto-x?

Hawaiian 07-05-2013 01:24 PM

Next autox is sunday at Joliet route 66 raceway. It's run by the SCCA. A few of us will be there.

I will be there. And I am jumping into the STX fray!

My only modification is a strut bar; am I good for STX?

TimR 07-05-2013 06:55 PM

An upper strut bar would put you in STX, however it may be difficult to be competitive in the that class if that is your only mod - especially if you are on street tires. If this is more about trying out autocross then being competitive it will be fine .

It looks like there will be about 5 of us out there this sunday with most in the STX class. It should be fun.
