Hitting a subaru dealership next week to see if I can put together part numbers and prices for anyone interested to finally figure out a definitive answer of how indepth this would be to do.

pretty confident you'll need a new ecu to go along with push to start. i know you said jdm, but there are other threads that explain and discuss after market options using oem parts to keep the oem look.

I have no idea why I even care, it is just a key - but for some reason it nags at me. like scion didnt give me the complete 86 or something. (I could careless about HVAC)
I hope to at least list off all part numbers and price in case anyone ever decides to do a full conversion. |
It might be cheaper to look into this option:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39313 I know people had issues getting it working, but you might want to look into it. |
