I tried pushing it down more but it wont go. Seems simple and something I should be able to figure out.

Maybe a little heat from a hair dryer plus a little pressure on the vent cover will improve the situation ... ??

Take your car to the dealer and let them fix it that's why you have a warranty. ;)

did you remove it to plastidip it? If so, make sure that it is aligned properly when trying to put it back in. It took me a couple different angles before it went back in right.
