HD RADIO problem in los angeles
 

Has anyone figured out a fix? Or am i stuck with this issue.

Since day one, i've had HD radio issues where its going in and out randomly. It seems to be losing reception.

The navigation unit is fine, and standard radio is fine.

HD would play then pause for liek 10-15 secs then come back, its rather annoying.

Anyone?

Have you changed your antenna?

I have a perrin shorty but even with the stock one it happens.

Bump still have hd radio problems, everything else works

How often does it happen? I'll see if mine does the same.

its random, in some locations it doesnt drop for a bit,

in other places it drops like every 10 secs, you can't even listen to a song.

There are HD radio stations of the same station which plays different music, those will shut completely off.

In los angeles, 102.7 HD plays electronic music, instead of your normal justin bieber stuff.

*shrugs* I thought that was normal. You can try a larger antenna, haha!

I haven't had any issues except pulling into my garage and I put around 70 miles on the car the first day in LA and Long Beach w/o issue.

I get drops from hd to regular whenever I drive under a walkway bridge on the 405. A freaking walkway bridge! It's consistent. Now I just use iheartradio app from my phone. Sound is so much better.

DC area mine would go in and out constantly. Never used it because of that.
