DIY Video - Removing Interior Pieces + Carbon Fiber-ization

Follow at your own risk, you have been warned.

Just a little video I made for my youtube series, showing how to remove the interior pieces, and the steps I took to give them a (cheesy) carbon fiber look.

I like how you filmed the after part in the dark...

The DIY was interesting and entertaining for me, but not my cup of tea.
Seems like alot of prep work to have a fake CF look, but to each their own

For the cost difference and cosmetic appeal, I prefer Alcantara covered pieces or real CF layovers

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I guess you can say this project w/ video were mostly for entertainment purposes.

I'm thinking about re-doing them in something other than CF once my next paycheck comes in though.

Any suggestions ?

I wont be doing that to my FRS but definitely a good video, and you do have a good voice; you could do voiceovers

Appreciate the info for how to take out the trim pieces. They're usually pretty easy like you said, but knowing where to pry can save some ugly mars. And I haven't seen that water transfer (not as a DIY at least, saw it on How It's Made once).

Yeah the only thing I would add is wrap the end of the screw driver with electrical tap to avoid any scrapes or gouging
