FT86 speedfactory
 

Last week, i exchanged a couple of private messages with ft86speedfactory. They seemed to be the best buisness to deal with. I could only find good reviews. Everytime they got back to me very quickly to let me know if they had the parts in stock or not. I went ahead and ordered 2 cusco oil filters and a grimspeed oil cap. They told me it was 165 shipped and the only payment option for me was paypal since i am canadian to prevent fraud. 15 minutes later my payment was made.

Since then i sent 2 pms to confirm they got my money and to figure out if the items had shipped but they never got back at me. I looked at their profile and they did log in since then. Have i got scammed or what? I dont want to write a negative feedback just yet or open a dispute on paypal but is that my only option?

Nah brah you don't have anything to worry about. Running a business takes time and even though they have logged in since, it doesn't mean they were doing anything at all even other than trolling forums like you and I.

They are good people. Jeremy and his gang have nothing but the customer in their best interest, just give them some time.

P.S. if it was me, I'd neglect you just cus you're Canadian :happy0180:

LOL - i did the same thing earlier this week when i ordered the rexspeed mirrors via PM/email and paypal, not off their website. i expected a 'we've received your payment' PM or email and didn't receive anything. a day later, i was a bit nervous as i had not heard back and i PM'd them again to follow up. they replied soon after with 'we've shipped your order!' (and included a tracking number). the mirrors showed up just a couple of days later.

i'm thinking that because you don't get an automated response as you would when ordering off the website, it may take a bit longer to get an order confirmation (if any) as they have to go through PMs or emails. but, from the time i paid to the time i received the product, it was very fast (i first PM'd them on a sunday, paid via paypal on sunday, and received the mirrors on wednesday). i'd have no worries ordering the same way again from them.

You should be good to go! They are a little slow to respond in threads, but emails and shipping confirmations are very quick :thumbup:

I bought coilovers in the fall from them, was a perfect transaction and ordered SPC LCA and a few other items directly from their website 2 days ago. Got email confirmation of shipment today!

No no don't worry. Im Canadian also and ordered over 1000$ in items over span of about 3 months. I asked them to hold the items I paid for until everything was in stock. I didn't get any confirmation until the entire order was shipped. Jeremy was very very cooperative and had the best prices. I admit he didn't reply right away but always did eventually. I'm sure he's a busy guy.

ft86speedfactory just attended the 86 expo in las vegas. they drove from iowa to las vegas and then back.
