It's not exactly the kit optioned out how I would want, but I'll jump on it only if it's a smokin deal, otherwise I'm just going to buy new.

Sold the clutch sorry. $4000 is an awesome price for this kit in its condition. The kit optioned how I got it would cost you $4800 shipped, so I would say this is an awesome deal for a basically brand new kit with titanium wrapped downpipe.

Why didn't you just take your car to the dealership for the engine issue after taking the turbo off? Why did you sale your car so fast?

I would be interested in purchasing if there is some kind of formal paperwork showing inspection of parts. I just smell fish on this. May not be the case though.

I am confused about one comment you made. You said you had rod knock before the turbo was installed at the track. Then why did you blame the turbo for the cause of the rod knock? I may have misterpreted.

Maybe someone forgot to refill the oil fully after the turbo install?

It would be hard to miss a rod knock if it was knocking before the installation. Rods do not knock lightly or quietly.

I'm guessing but without a concrete "this is what happened" you'll be hard pressed to sale this kit.

I read that the rod knock happened shortly AFTER the turbo install.

It could have been the opportunity to redo the motor with low compression pistons, but I understand, sometimes you're just "done" and need to move on or change gears.

It IS a good deal, except I am planning on different specs, so I'm not saving much if I get this kit and still stick with my original plan. It comes out to about the same price either way, so I'll probably go with new stuff.

Thanks anyways, I'll let you know if things change. Good luck with the sale.

Tried but they suspected a turbo install and someone showed them pictures at the dealership of my car with the turbo kit being installed.

It wasn't knocking but my mechanics best guess since everything checked out during the test drive and nothing out of limits or acting funny, and the fact it was low boost, my motor must have been previously damaged before turbo install and the added pressure caused a weak link to fail.

That is considered fraud.
