no. check to see if you accidentally disconnected an o2 sensor or something along those lines in the process. the actual code it's throwing should help a ton in diagnosing the cause.

Gonna hook her up to reader at lunch. Thanks. Will post what codes come up. No o2 sensor diconnected

WARRANTY DENIED.

Just kidding man. A cat-back should not throw a code.

sklimo 06-13-2013 11:32 AM

Yeah this has me confused as hell. Even the mechanic who did the install is stumped

Chimpo 06-13-2013 11:37 AM

This may sound too easy, but did you try a battery disconnect? Obviously you should get the code read tho...

I'm a little confused as to why the mechanic didn't pull the code?

sklimo 06-13-2013 11:59 AM

He is a mechanic here at my shop. We work on trains and rail bound trucks. Gonna read codes at lunch.

No I didn't try that. I am thinking the ECU is flippin out b/c of loss of back pressure???????????

Chimpo 06-13-2013 12:03 PM

I'm gonna have to say that's a negative. I would imagine if this were the case that many people would have already experienced this issue.

sklimo 06-13-2013 12:12 PM

Damn..................... I will post codes soon. Thanks for all you help!!

sklimo 06-13-2013 01:57 PM
