Cruise control doesn't come ON

Since i've produced a Dumpfile to get a tune from Visconty, my cruise control don't want to come On anymore. I have a manual trans BRZ and have 3100 miles on it.

Is there anybody who had a issue with the cruise control?

LeeMaster 06-13-2013 12:35 AM

yeah, your cruise control is now the launch control. buh-bye take it out and save more weight up front. :)

The cruise is supposed to work anyway. I dont have any racerom yet so as for the lunch control, I dont use my cruise switchs to change rpms at lunch...

k, two things here.

1 - No, his cruise control should still be functional, even with the launch control feature of racerom installed.

2 - Being DBW cars, I'm pretty sure the "cruise control system" in these cars is a piece of software, no?

Do you have a check engine light? Does the cruise control light turn on at all? What color is it?

^This

With a check engine light, when you try to activate cruise control it will illuminate the cruise control lamp orange/amber and be stuck on until you restart the car

If none of that applies to you, reflash back to your stock tune and see if it works

I've tried flashing back to stock, didn't worked.

I don't have any cell.

The green light in the dash does not turn ON. I push the ON/OFF button and nothing happened.

Damn I should have researched that he did a steering wheel reinstall. I was sure it was Visconti and EcuTek's fault that his cruise control wasn't working. :D

I meant to copy most of that conversation from the Visconti thread over here but got distracted at work and posted it over there instead! :bonk:
