High pitch sound at freeway speeds

So whatsup with that high pitch sound coming from engine bay at 70+mph? I am assuming it is normal since it's been around since day 1 and I have read somewhere on forums that people have it but what is it coming from? Is it possible to get rid of it? I feel like it makes the engine sound kind of puny.

I have a feeling it's the fuel pump, but I'm not an expert.

If you hear it when apply throttle, then it's induction noise. It sounds like a whine, whirl, or half hearted whistle. I like the noise on the triplets. Some cars hiss. Other sound like air rushing over an obstacle.

Tire noise, wind?

Gear noise? I've got several spots in where I hear it depending on gear / speed, including around 70mph.

I can hear it at 80mph actually. I haven't tried putting it in neutral and seeing if the sound goes away. Will report back.

I'm pretty sure it's not tire noise as the road I go fast on is usually very smooth; doesn't sound like wind on the exterior.

I have had the same noise come and go. Gone right now. I think it is the fuel pump.

Same noise here. Come off the gas and it goes away. Seems normal and OK to me.
