Did I Just Lose $90?
 

So I haven't been on the forum for a while (shame on me) but I last ordered the VG Shark Fin Antennas--Group Buy 3 from 86 ZN6 and last I heard was that they had to remake them do to orange peeling. Now I come back and check, and the item is no longer active. Did I just lose my money? I have not received it yet.

Just call them and ask

That piece of shit VG sharkfin antenna is a piece of shit.

I had to re-seat it twice and it still wouldn't sit on the roof over the antenna base, so I relocated the antenna base to inside the cabin on the third try.

Beatsonic is the way to go.

I must be the only person who has had zero issues with the VG shark fin. It fit perfectly right out of the box with an air tight seal. After being in the sun countless hours and going through numerous washes it still looks as good as it did the day I got it.

Yeah this has been the longest I've had to wait for part and I ordered wheels straight from Japan.

I also purchased the VG shark fin off him. Two of them to be exact. I was about to message @86_ZN6, but decided to check out his online store before I did and saw this:


"We will be closed on June 13 - June 19 for the Las Vegas 86 Expo. You may still purchase from the store and items will be processed and shipped when we return. All emails and inquiries will also be answered next week. Thank you for you business and support! - 86_ZN6"

Could this be a reason as to why the group buy thread is appearing as being 'inactive' at the moment?

not really maybe the GB is not active and thats why they closed it.

hey guys! the GB is currently inactive because we will be close for a week and my vendor/sponsorship has expired. (will be renewing it after the expo)

it shall be open once again when i return next week from the 86 expo.

Based on current tracking, the fins are with US customs at the moment.

I've ordered quite a few things from @86_ZN6 (including my shark fin from the aforementioned group buy) and I haven't any issues at all. It sounds like it is just a busy week for him.

Mine has given me zero issues, and it looks great. 86 ZN6 is a great vendor - communication, shipping, etc... was great!

I have had no issues whatsoever with my VG antenna in almost 1 year.
