Florida SCCA - Tips, Joining, Discounts ect
 

So I am about to join do my first event (:party0030:) but was wondering if anyone has any tips for a first timer. I have never autox's and am super pumped but at the same time worried about my fancy new car. I will be running 100% stock with about 1,200 miles on my car. Should I wait for my milage to be higher? I pushed the car 2-3 times before the 1000 mile break in so I am not exactly an RPM prude but she is my baby and I worry. Any tips would be appreciated before I click on the registration button.

Tip # 3: If offered, go on the Novice walkthrough.
Tip # 4: Ask for an experienced driver to ride along with you and give you suggestions.
Tip # 5: Ask to ride along with an experienced driver (if your club allows).
Tip # 6: Don't compare your times with other drivers.
