Would like to know as well

NickFRS 06-12-2013 04:55 AM

anyone?

No pictures because I don't have my FR-S yet, and I'd be keeping stock tires for a while anyway, but I wouldn't go wider than 255's on an 17x8. If you like your current 235's, go for the middle ground and get 245's.

245/45/17 if you're looking for widest and tallest - id run a 245/40/17 though.

245/40 is fine on an 8" wheel, but I wouldn't go wider. There's also no reason to go wider at all unless you're pushing a lot more power than stock.

thread jack...

is a 235/40/17 ok for a 17.7.5 wheel?

I'm running 245/40/17s on Enkei RPF1s 17x9 with a +45 offset. On the stock suspension.

@CBR600RR I run 225/40/17 on my 2013 impreza with 17x7

I was thinking of doing 245/40/17 as the new set up but wondering if anyone has done this yet....

We run 235/40/17 on the stock rim. It's a setup that the Honda Challenge have been running for years without any problems

If you took any time at all to look at the thread listing all the various wheel/tire posts you would see LOTS of people running 245/40/17's... there's stickied compilation threads for a reason.

I refer people to that all the time and actually hang out with Darren.... I work 60 hour weeks and spend my off time with my girl. Taking 30 minutes out of my day to look through threads doesn't sound fun to me anymore. So I simply asked the community to answer my question which is perfectly reasonable. Good to know some people are willing enough to answer a question instead of point fingers. also I know lots of people are running 245/40/17's but you didn't specify what width of wheel. So thx for not answering my question.... If you don't like my post trollllll on. :thumbsup:

My point was in the time it took you to create this thread you could've found what you were looking for twice.
