F30 3 series

Drove one...actually two this past weekend. Sweet, razor sharp handling; turns and stops on a dime. the new N20 4 cylinder in the 328 has a lot of power off the line. it's hard to believe it's a 4 cylinder, but it is! plenty of room in the nicely crafted interior, and it feels really sporty in the Sport Line trim option. the exterior styling reminds me a lot of the old school BMW designs from the past like the E21 3er in a modern package and design. the major bummer is the price: $41k for a Sport Line with the basics. if i had the money i'd probably buy, but then you gotta deal w/ the maintenance (post warranty: i keep cars- spark plugs for the 328 every 30k mls). few cars have ever made me feel like I kid while and after driving. the F30 328 is definitely one of them.

I thought it was just the M car's they are doing that with?

i.e next M3 Coupe will be called an M4 - the Saloon/Sedan will still be called an M3

Edit:

OMG - the 328i will be so popular - 245 BHP 4Cyl with 44 Imperial MPG?!

I cant wait to see 300 BHP+ versions of these
