Drivers side marker clips.
Hey guys yesterday I lost a one of the 3 little clips that hold in the drivers side marker assembly. I have the part number for the marker. 84912CA150
Does anyone know if I need to buy the entire thing or can I just get the clips? |
I need one as well, so if you can find a place to buy let me know.

I have painters tape holding it in right now. but I may just drill a hole and hold it in with a zip tie.

I had a similar problem so I just bought one of these nylon rivets from autozone.

Those wont work for these. I need the little metal tabs. like in the picture below.

Sorry this ended up being a bust. You cant buy those little clips they come as part of the side marker. cost me 40 bucks for two new ones.

goddamnit.. I wonder what is a good method rather than buying a whole new set..

One of mine broke off. I kind of bent it again and then held it in place with epoxy putty. Been working ok.

Same thing happened to mine. So I used it as an excuse to get clear ones off of amazon.

i had some thin sheet metal laying around, i just used tin snips and cut out new clips to fit, and bent them accordingly to match, was easy. most hardware stores have some small peices of loose metal / left over scraps when people need metal trimmed down. I know at least my local Lowes and Home Depot does. $2 worth of metal, you can make 100 of these little clips.
just my 2 cents.. |
