what's everyone doing with their stock exhaust after going aftermarket?

i promised my dad that i wouldn't get anything new on the car but i'm itching for an exhaust. with my last few cars i would just keep the parts in the backyard where they would sit for a year or two. trying to avoid that do a swap without leaving parts behind.

i don't imagine people wanting the stock exhaust, is it worth anything at a junk yard even?

keep it incase some asshole dealership refuses warranty work because of your aftermarket exhaust :D.

This! While the car is under warranty, i will be keeping all my stock parts

My stock parts are piling up in one of our sheds in case I ever need to return to stock. Best to hold on to them until warranty is up, etc.

good advice guys, this kinda bums me out because i really dont' have a place to store the stock exhaust. good news though, time to look into allocating that exhaust money towards another mod :)

Exhaust shop gave me back my rear muffler but never got my factory secondary cat back after they fitted a high flow

This is unrelated but it is probably because they can get a decent amount of money out of the cat. A muffler is just scrap metal to them.

I kept my exhaust in the event that I sell the car for the new model (in a few years). Part out the after market stuff, and either put it on the new car, or sell it toward modding the new car.

Mine is sitting in my Nameless box, and I'll sell all of it together once I replace the header, front pipe, and midpipe.
