Volvo V40 leaked on the internet before the Geneva Auto Show. V40 is suppose to replace the C30, S40 sedan, and even V50 wagon. Aimed competition with Audi A3 and BMW 1 Series. What are your thoughts?

i love it! Im a fan of Volvo. The body line is very simple but has good definition. The roof spoiler, skirts and valences give really good accents to add complexity. Front bumper design is sporty with a beveled hood that flows well with it.

Wheels are awful though, the only thing i would have liked to see would have been frameless windows. Which would have a better impact on the shape of the roofline. If i was volvo i would challenge myself to make it a compact wagon, vs reaching size and weight traits of a crossover. Especially if i was targeting the A3 & 1 series.

The things i would change is the shape of the headlamps. The bubbly smooth teardrop doesn't jive well with the sharp contusion of the door lines. I would have opted for a square edge. and more defined brake duct openings at the front bumper.

Rear tails are very Nissan Juke-esque....

I like it but I still would choose the new Impreza 5 door over this, I can't wait to see what Volvo does with the C30 :D

Love it. Is it another Pininfarina's masterpiece? This just looks like it's ready to take all the competition.

Edit: Forget about it, I think Pininfarina and Volvo ended joint venture a few years ago.

I think it looks pretty good in the official photos. I like the interior but not so much the steering wheel.
