Hey everyone,
I searched the site for this and nothing came up so, i wanted to let you guys know that Megan Racing has released a 5x100 to 5x114.3 Hub Conversion kit for the FR-S/BRZ. This kit is available for the price of $750, i wish i would have waited for this conversion kit it.but oh well. I just wanted to share this with my fellow forum members, link is below. Also i love the fact that they engraved on the hub adds a nice touch.

Very nice. Seems a little expensive but I assume that is MSRP....

Megan Racing - the same company that makes budget coilovers?

I think I'll pass...

Hardrace Hubs

Look like the same thing with different engravings.

Hardrace is Taiwan based so im sure they're just rebranded Megan here in America

Megan racing... no. This is pretty unnecessary as many companies make wheels in 5x100 for this car.

Yeah, I'm thinking about running these so I can try out some LFA wheels :) Separate post about it somewhere here.

We explored this option back when we were thinking about getting an FR-S. While there are a lot of 5x100 wheels out there, there are infinitely more 5x114.3 wheels with aggressive offsets.

For us, it would have been nice to be able to share wheels between the FRS and our shop s2000s. We already had 7 sets of 5x114.3 wheels - would have been nice to be able to use them.

That being said, we have moved on with the 5x100 setup and haven't had any issues. We've even got a set of dual drilled (5x100 and 5x114.3) wheels to share between the s2000s and FRS. :)

I think I'd trust the Project Kics adapter spacers before trusting Megan bearings.

But Megan is just a brand... this statement needs to be evaluated in the context of the actual manufacturer.

A lot of companies are OEM/ODM for manufacturers in Japan and beyond.

too bad the adapters put you out of range of most of the good 5x114.3 wheels :(

Those things are the Hardrace hubs with a different engraving, plain and simple. Megan Racing doesn't have the resources to engineer and develop something like this.

If they are cheaper with a Megan Racing logo engraved on them, then so be it.

haha gotta love the internet,

Good to see more options available if this even counts

Good point. I'd just be worried about it being rebranded and rebranded and then who knows who actually built it...

"Good" is relative. Lots of nice STi wheels out there with high offsets!
