Acceleration Times

Sup guys. Thought I'd chime in about something I'm starting to log. I encourage anyone with EcuTek, or the ability to data log to join in. I'm compiling a list of WOT acceleration runs to analyze data. For example, I've noticed that my automatic transmission has challenges with the 2-3 shift, and pauses slightly. I'd love to find the 'sweet spot' shift point. Below is a time vs rpm graph. You can clearly see a quick 1-2 shift, but 2-3 was slow, and 3-4 was relatively quick as well.

Here is a public spreadsheet I'll be keeping updated with information I receive. Would love to add to this.

So you just want an EcuTek CSV file with RPM and a 1st through 3rd gear acceleration run?

Yes sir. I'm aiming to plot up to 100mph, but whatever log you have, great.

Nope. I actually hate having to lug my laptop out and hook up the EcuTek cable. I only make logs to send to Visconti. I don't really like the EcuTek log viewer either since you can't adjust the scale on any of the plots. I do like looking at logs though. I work with data and datalogs for a living, so I love finding the interesting parts of the data.

hmm. now I kinda want to go do this as well, but we don't have any long empty roads around here, especially not at this time of day.

I think I need to do more reading on my ECUTek program, see exactly what I can log (I should be able to do 0-60, and 1/4 mile, but need to figure out how)
