Help me pick a BRZ color:
I have my color narrowed to Black, Dark Grey, Lightning Red, and WRBP. Thinking I might do a color color over a neutral color...
|
Let fate decide for you. Agree to take the color that is first available.

Very Oracle Matrix of you...
Me - But if you already know what color I am going to take why give me a choice at all? That means you parked that car there, purposefully, waiting for me... Dealer - Do what you've come to do!! |
The point is not to provide choice, it is simply for you to believe you have a choice in the first place.
Black and Dark Gray will be more under the radar, depending largely on how you drive, that is... Blue or Red are going to me more eye-catching, and could draw more attention. World Rally Blue is more a part of Subaru's racing history... *cue Matrix background music* |

Me - But I've already made the choice, now I have to understand it!! Dealer - I already told you sir, we don't have a color called "Trinity Black". Mmmmmmm I might do Black. No color fading over the long years, calls less attention to itself, and makes bumper scratches harder to see. And it's the most Batman like... While WRBP is old school Batman... It will most likely come down to these two colors as they are the front runners for me. |
I wanted either black or white at first, but when i was at dealer the only color was DGM. Also was the only BRZ available so i went with it :D After hearing how much better DGM is to black i feel so much better. Would be cool to catch eye in traffic like wrb red or white but it does feel like my own batmobile!

How is it better for you?
|
Well, it's not on your list, but everyone seems to be blown away by the color of my BRZ: Galaxy Blue. It's not as flashy as red or WR blue, but it's more dynamic than white, silver and black.
|
Trinity Black, lol
Galaxy Blue actually does look really good in the sun. I personally chose dark gray (and wingless) because I like the more subdued colors and I don't like the attention on the road unless it's from a fellow enthusiast. Also, grays and earth tones look cleaner for longer vs white/black. Surprisingly, black can often look dirty more quickly because it has no inherent color; you only see reflections, and without sharp reflections, it looks dingy. My bike on the other hand is lime green and loud. Go figure. |
Blue blue blue until your blue in the face...
|
Black or white with the sti lip treatment has to be my favorite look by far. Only get red if know it's "you" so it doesn't look like a cry for attention.
|
Red is my fav color but it's such a plain non pearl non metallic one... And yes it's not subtle.
|
I'll list the cons I see in the colours (personal opinion):
Black: Swirlies grey metalic: can't think of any off the top of my head Galaxy blue (Navy): I never really liked this colour, thanks to the similarly coloured AW11 back in the day. WRB: flashy heat score Red: fading over the years, most noticable colour to have different colours for each panel White: you'll notice every chip on the bumper and any dirt that is on it will show very easily. At least swirlies aren't as apparent. |
What do you mean by flashy heat score? Grey metallic might be back in the table as an option.
