FFTEC Motorsports dyno day June 22, 2013

What's up everyone... A buddy of mine invited me to this dyno day. They deal mostly with EVO's, BMW's and some Subaru's. they are holding this as a fundraiser for a local EVO owner's son who was diagnosed with cancer. It's a local shop in Hayward. All the proceeds will be donated to the family. I figure it might be a nice place for a mini meet for those who want to come out and check out some cars run on the dyno and talk about cars. Try some food from the food trucks etc.

Sounds like a good cause, unfortunately I won't be able to make it to this one.

Can you reserve a spot? And I assume that 3 pulls is just one car, pull another car is another $50. Hmm, interested...not for mine but a couple AMG and M cars maybe fascinated. Hayward is so close to CV.

It seems to be a first come first serve basis. If you have a couple people who want to dyno. They might want to get there early just to sign up. That is a pretty good deal for moded cars or even if you wanted a baseline on how much horse your pulling.

I have never been there but considering that they do dyno and tune EVO's so I would think they are rollers.

I got word that's its a mustang dyno. Roller type. But don't quote me on that because I heard it thru the grapevine. Since I have never seen the dyno myself.

oh damn I forgot about this... my bad, I just added it to the 86DRIVE calendar of events. I'll be out on the Marin drive in the morning, but will probably stop by on the way home seeing as it's just down the hill from me haha.

All good, but you have to set up that ride again in the future since I can't make this one.
