Perrin reverse lockout with JPM shift boot?
 

Has anyone been able to pull off this combo? I went to go do the install today and before punching out the stock lockout I actually bothered to check how well the JPM alcantara shiftboot fits with the lockout and it looks like it just slips off. Perhaps it would work better under actual installed conditions but I figured it would probably be a waste of time...or would it? The vendor I purchased from has agreed to take the return provided it is in unused condition. I'd like to hear from anyone who has managed to do this before I make the lockout nonreturnable.
