Supra/ 2jzgte experts around SoCal
Well I'm trying to list the top supra shops around SoCal I do know a few but hope to hear reviews and some first hand experience.
The reason is currently I think the hassle of building this motor is too much. 1) all the DI issues 2) the drivetrain 3) the price of the components considering its a new market Now I know you could argue they run fine at 250wheel but I'm kinda aiming for 600+wheel So it seems the 2jzgte is the ideal platform to hold this power and I'm very familiar with, and the v160 gear box I know for a fact is bullit proof. With the addition of @FullBlown mustang diff , axles things should be fine. I hope people don't jump in saying I should've got another car and say I'll ruin the balance. I don't plan on tracking it but I do plan on taking it to the strip and build it as a exotic killer :) and hopefully faster than the other cars I own ! :thanks: |
FSR in Montclair! They brought my Supra up to 600WHP with ease and fixed a lot of the small issues the previous owner left on it :), they are very friendly and offer great prices.

I second FSR. All my supra friends go there and their work is awesome.

Check out Evasive Motorsports. One of their guys is daily driving a 1001 HP turbo charged Supra. I think he built it himself. He's been driving it for 10 yrs or more and it still runs well and looks great.

Yes, you can ask or PM Randy about Jay's build.
