Dealership or shop in Aberdeen area for side glass repair
 

Well, I had posted in the chat thread but decided to start a new one since I need some recommendations.

Short story: Landscaping company sprayed the side of my car with rocks putting over 20 chips in the side windows. I spoke with them today and they're agreed to repairs. Dealership or shop, I'm open. Just want quality work since I'm pretty anal about other people working on my car.

I'm located int he Aberdeen area so places nearby would be helpful.

I need the following quotes:

Replace the drivers side window and rear quarter window.
Formula One Pinnacle Series Tint
Car Detailing

What have they agreed to cover in terms of repair costs? I'd be hard pressed to believe they'd cover everything above.

No clue where Aberdeen is, but I recently got a quote for F1 Pinnacle in the Northern VA area for $349 at LA Tint.

They didn't seem to balk at it. But I also had the property management company present too. It's a huge landscaping contract and they really don't want to risk it. I still expect them to push back, but i'll try to get something going asap, which is why i need the quotes.

Closest Formula One Pinnacle Tint shop I can find is Absolute perfection in Sykesville, MD. About an hour away from me. Just an FYI, Aberdeen is about 45 min. north of Baltimore.

The detailer that was recommended to me is Reflected Images Detailing in Forest Hills. They're about 30 min from me. They have a paint correction detail running about $325 that looks thorough.

Still waiting for quotes from a dealership and a glass shop.

Just got all the quotes in:

Left side window: $381.81
Left side quarter glass: $359.96
Install: $100/window
Tint: $159
Detail: $325
plus some misc.
Total $1518.18....

Now it's time to see if they step up or step off....

For Pinnacle? :confused0068: Being that they're a tint shop I don't think you're getting any other services from them, but how on earth is it that cheap?

I never said it was cheap. Just the only place nearby. A full car in Pinnacle runs $300+
But yeah, not getting anything else done by them.

Mental relapse there, was thinking that price for the whole car which made no sense. Best of luck getting the landscaping co to cover everything.

Well, just an update. Landscaping said they'll cover it. They said two weeks to process and cut me a check. So, we'll just have to see if this actually works out. So far it's going better then I expected, but I won't relax until the check has cleared.
