Trunk lid liner

Been looking on the forum and can't find where to buy a trunk lid liner. HELP!:mad0259:

I bought mine before I even had my FR-S. Any Subaru dealership whether brick and mortar or web site will be able to help you. It's a Subaru part and it fits perfectly in the FR-S since they both have the same deck lid.

It's dumb that it doesn't come stock on the FR-S. I rather have this than the sound generator. Probably costs less to produce than the sound generator.

Did you notice any sound deadening after install? That's part if the reason I want the liner but maybe I'd be better off adding insulation to the rear seat back inside of the trunk...

No, you won't get much deadening effect from just the liner. What it does allow you to do is put sound deadener on the trunk lid and cover it with the liner. That's what I did.

Speaking of sound generators: mine buzzed and rattled at 4000rpm and i don't miss it now that it's gone.

If this helps, I bought one of these trunk liner a few months ago. It fits my FRS perfectly and I love the look of it far better than the bare metal.

I can't say it did any sound deadening since I installed it as soon as I got my car. I bought it for appearance.

Where did you get the "sound deadened"? Auto parts store?

On the BRZ Trunk Liner, is there a natural slit where it folds to place it on the trunklid, or did it slice when they carelessly folded it in the packaging?
