Who else will be using their FRS as a second car?

I've been debating on keeping my 300ZX for months now. I sold my RX-8, bought the 300ZX as a temporary car, and planned on selling it for the FRS. Well now I'm actually debating on keeping my Z for my daily driver and keeping my FRS for the good weather and weekends.

My Z is beautiful. I have owned 11 cars now and this is my second 300ZX. The one I own is only one or 103 made in this color, and only 53 in this color were manual transmission (cocoa bronze - color). This car is worth money and was going to be used as some of my downpayment towards my FRS. I keep putting money into this thing tho (even got my new wheels for the Z in the mail today).
I'd really hate to see it go, but have been all over this FRS for a while now.

I guess my main question is, who else is planning on getting the FRS as a second project/weekend car? Love to hear your stories.

It will probably my be #1 car but when the weather is crappy I'll drive my 91 corolla till I get something a little nicer. I'll probably sell my S14 but the GSXR 750 isn't going anywhere. I want to keep the S14 and make it a full track car but the 5k I can probably get for it would make a nice down payment.

Yeah I could probably get 4k for my Z but then I'd be stuck driving the FRS in the snow. Almost thought about selling the Z, buying an old $2k AWD Subaru, and use some cash down on the FRS.

I have always wanted a nice S15 to tho :P

I have my turbo Integra that I am keeping and my 09 GSX-R 600. The FRS will be my daily driver/track day car.

If I still work for the same people that I do now I'll have a work car this Forester, but if I'm working for someone else I'll only have the BRZ. It is still up in the air for me.

It will be my only one. The RSX will be sold and since I don't have kids nor do I want them the FR-S is perfect as my only car.

If i get an FR-S it will not be my only car.
I will only use it for fun and when the weather is nice.

Getting rid of the xD and getting the FR-S. It will be my only car

If the Z is rare, and it may be worth money, then you don't really want to be driving it in the snow either. If it means that much to you maybe you should put it up in storage and get a beater winter car/truck. Save up and later get the FR-S/BRZ.

I thought about it actually, but it has some hail damage from the last owner and high miles. I'll probably keep it in the garage if I keep it, or like I said I may even buy an older AWD Subaru for the winters. It's hard to decide but I don't want to get rid of the Z nor do I need three cars (FRS, 300ZX, and an older Subaru).

My family has two auto camrys one manual corolla and one manual suzuki swift and I find driving these with their electronic nanny systems as boring as cleaning the kitchen.
It would be fun to drive a BRZ/ft86 and I would have to trade in one of our cars and need to decide which one.
Anyway , it is going to be a long time before BRZ/ft86 arrive down under in Australia.

OP: Sell the Z and get snows for the FR-S.

This will be a 4th car for me, but it will be my primary daily driver. My Tundra will then be used for only towing or crappy weather if I don't want to drive the FR-S. Unfortunately, with the race car and the 19k mi Fiero in the garage, the FR-S will have to live outside.

my 86 will be my daily driver, my weekend vehicle is SC430
