Everyone is really jumping the gun on this, its cool to be excited for a new car, but it seems people are making irrational decisions on such a major purchase!

It's pretty easy to make it a written requirement for the purchase pending the test drive. Test drive it when it gets there, if you like it, congrats, you don't have to wait 3 more months to get it.

Its a refundable deposit/order. If it comes in and I dont want it, I walk with money returned. Heres the gun... and me, not jumping it.

HOWEVER, if it is in fact everything I want, Im already in prime position to walk out on first batch with the car. The rest of the people who seemed to be thinking more "rationally" have to wait in line, 2 maybe 3 months.

I completely agree, I don't get it either. It's mainly just the hype of this car that has everyone so antsy about it. They've been playing it up for quite some time now.

I'm excited because I'm getting it for $500 over invoice and I know the general price range and can afford it.

I don't think people quite understand the concept of "refundable"...

Sigh. I'll be buying it at MSRP; the dealerships I've spoken to have insinuated they won't sell over MSRP, but they have enough interested parties to justify not selling it for less either.

What is your guess for the Invoice? or the price that you have to pay Grinch?

and common sense isn't very common, neither is non hassle refunds.

based on a 27K retail price invoice should be around 25.5k based on other subarus.

Zaku 02-21-2012 05:26 PM

27.5k would be MSRP+500 :P

Who knows for sure, we will have to wait for pricing to be released.

If its 27K for a fully loaded BRZ Limited....I am ok with that...but I hope it a bit cheaper. Word on the street is that the FR-S is going to be $25k! WTF! Come on Scion price it right.

I think the real nugget is going to be the BRZ premium....

25k for the FR-S is too much IMO. I'm still guessing 23k for FR-S, 24 for BRZ-P and 27 for BRZ-L
