Not me.....*halo over head* but depending on the news, if it's good news I'll run over to a Subaru and get on a list. I don't mind waiting but all the other cars I've owned has been first model year so it's not like much will change for me XD

Dunno how they can expect firm non-refundable deposit orders when you haven't even sat in the model before, let alone driven it.

My dealer said even if the order is firm and the car arrives, I can walk away (as they will have no problems selling it to someone else).

maxeveland 02-21-2012 02:22 PM

idk why any dealer would say deposit is nonrefundable

Yeah, will most likely not mean pricing.

Edit: ^ sarcasm lol... we'll find out soon enough

It's relevant to people who are borderline between a Limited and Premium trim, knowing which to put in their order for.

Good point. I'm already set on the limited so I didn't even think of that :)

If they are selling it to you for is the same price, then door #2, so you get it quicker.

They have to announce the pricing, if they are actually going to place an order on the 27th...this is a real order not a pre-order. That also means the car is less than 60 days out....Yeah! So late April to early may is not entirely possible for the first batch!

I am going limited...just don't know what the color is going to be....I am ok if it don't get on the first batch...as long as I get mine this summer. Push button start baby!
Hehe...

Why on earth would anyone pre-order without a price, or to be honest, a test drive. I seriously want one too, but I'm not doing a damn thing until they have an official price and I give it a really serious test drive.

Everyone is really jumping the gun on this, its cool to be excited for a new car, but it seems people are making irrational decisions on such a major purchase!

The Dealership Launch Guide to support the 2013 Subaru BRZ.
The Advanced Product Guide section includes:
2013 BRZ Features, Accessories, Models and Options and Color Options
2013 BRZ Specifications: Engine, DriveTrain, Steering and Suspension, Braking, Wheels and Tires
and Exterior Dimensions
We have also developed a takeaway that can be given to customers that show interest in the BRZ.
2013 BRZ Consumer Takeaway: Focuses on BRZ Specifications between both Premium and
Limited Trim models

I don't see anything related to price in there, unless it's within the "launch guide".

I think people have seen all the awesome reviews and praise that this car is getting, so how could you go wrong? We all want the car no matter what. We've already been "sold" for a while. It sounds like you're still not really sold on whether you want a car like this or not. That's the difference.
