FR-S OEM spoiler removal -- rough picture guide
Hi All,
FYI, anyone taking off the OEM spoiler for the FR-S, there's no plastic tabs. Instead you use a 10mm socket driver and a TT30 Torx driver just in case anyone wanted to know. NOTE: the two outer torx screws are hard to get to, I dropped one of the screws in the trunk lid's pockets, need to find a way to get it out now. I finished my OEM removal and installed my TRD spoiler yesterday, what a pain it was to guess the pieces since it's a 3 min walk from my car to my house, going up and down the stairs about 20 times was not what I wanted. Magnet? Do you live in an apartment? It is a bitch for me to change my tires cause my tires are on a differs level then my car and I am on the top floor.

As far as how long it took (previous poster). about 2 hours or so to get it out as well as clean up the mess. I scratched up the trunk pretty good due to the way the spoiler was mounted and I had a lot of issues taking it off with fishing string. It's okay, the new spoiler hides EVERYTHING. So just tape up the holes and good luck! |
Given your mention of fishing line, there is adhesive then...?
