Gopro
How many of you guys actually have one? And how often do you use it? I'm on the fence about it. I want one just for footage. But I have a dslr...
i've been debating the exact thing. put i want at least 2, and that's expensive. lol.
Haha same here! One for inside the cabin and one for the front driver fender... Gaw....
Im trying to get one too, 2 would be amazing. Whats stopping me is im waiting for another big sale promotion to come out again like the 100$ off coupon. OR supposedly a GoPro hero 4? The 3 has been out for nearly 2 years now and the 2 was out about teh same time when the 3 came out. So yeah who knows :iono::bonk:
my friends were just taking about this... but damn, they're expensive.
Sony action cam is a good alternative. Camera, car mount and sdcard was about 300 and was a wifi model.
other cams are ok, but can't compete with the FPS options the gopro hero 2 or hero 3 black/silver editions have. especially if you want sick slow motion videos in hd format.
Sounds like everybody is on the same page as me. Still on the fence bout it.

I have the Go Pro Hero 2, and I use it mostly for Quads and Dunes. It would absolutely be awesome in a setting like this though. I've used mine for some film things as well, because you can immerse them and be okay. Also, there are plug ins for video editing programs like Sony Vegas Pro and Premier that love 60 FPS footage.
Here is a link to a video, using the Go Pro Hero 2 (The new ones are WAY nicer) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--ZwS0bihHQ"]GOPRO HD and TWIXTOR 2000fps - YouTube[/ame] |
Yeah... So... My ex got me one for my bday... Videos will be up shortly...
