The Chevy Cavalier and Toyota whatever you call it was another one. This is a collaboration, not badge engineering! |
The worst j can think of was the French attempt of DSM-style marketing was the Renault 5 Turbo & the "Le Car". :barf:

How about when Dodge made the Neon, and then they put a front and rear Plymouth badge on it and called it the Plymouth Neon? There were literally no differences in the vehicles.

Trueno and Levin... Zing!

The most egregious example that I can think of is the Aston Martin Cygnet (Toyota IQ).
http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/...e_1544666c.jpg The laziest example I can think of is the MB/Dodge/Freightliner Sprinter. Same headlights, same bumpers, same white paint, same freaking model name. |
Ok guys, I see how it is.
I'm just a troll..... And everyone is going to make fun of me for posting my opinion..... "In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory,[2] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[3] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.[4] The noun troll may refer to the provocative message itself" Yep, I did all what was stated above.... I'm in High School, and have a higher maturity level than some of you guys on the forum. I wish you all the best of luck. |

In my VERY honest opinion to the OP whether it be him trolling or not.
I'm curious to know about your priorities. You're 17. You're what... a junior in H.S? Or a young Senior? You're going to drop 10k as a DP for the FRS/BRZ as the FIRST thing you plan on doing? You don't plan on furthering your education? Did you think about how your interest rates are going to be since you're a brand new buyer with no credit history? You'll be out of a job. You have nothing to fall back on. Mommy and Daddy is going to Co-sign for you? Ok, well what happens when you fall behind a payment? Mommy and daddy aren't going to be so happy if you plan on blowing everything you have on a car. How are you going to afford insurance? Gas? If you're going to college where are you going to stay to study? Can you even afford college + the payments? How are you going to afford food? Entertainment? Social life? In all honesty, I think you'll be bound to fail. Your car will be taken away from you by the bank, you'll go hungry, parents will probably kick you out for making a stupid decision, and you'll probably regret making that decision. I don't see any maturity in here. You're not a cool badass by doing what you're doing. Maturity doesn't just come in forms of how people talk. Its involves, actions, responsibilities, and priorities. Random Comments: - There are BIG differences between priorities and beliefs. - Quote:
- Kidwonder, you're still a kid. You've been identified-in this thread-as a troll by saying how mature you are when you think putting a 10k DP for a car that hasn't come out yet is a 'clever' idea. |
