Has this happened to anyone else....
 

Was washing car yesterday and was in the process of drying it off. I had opened driver door to wipe done and beeping sound went off. No key in ignition. Nothing was turned on. just this beeping sound. finally closed the door and the sound turned off.....I have never heard this before.
Anyone have an answer????

Yes ive noticed a light beep.

I had parked my car with the windows down at the park, and parked next to a lady with a kid, walking by I pushed the lock button to let them know, hey please be mindful not to bump my car (thanks!) - and a few seconds later the car starts a long "beeeeeeeeeeeeee" until I pressed the lock button again.

Did you either have headlight turned on (not on auto/off) or you had your door opened before you turned off the engine.

No car had been off for 1/2hr while I was washing it. I opened door to wipe the water in sill and the car started to beep. Nothing was on.....At first that's what I thought that I hade my lights on, but they weren't.
but after I shut door beeping stopped, opened door again and couldn't get it to beep again.

I think it beeps if you try locking the door when the door is open? I'm not by my car but maybe check that?

ok thanks I shall try that......Come to think of it my keys were in my pocket.
maybe I accidently hit lock button on while the door was open.
