$580 shipped for a set of beater rims isn't bad. Ordered a set of chromium black colors.

My best friend owns a used tire shop so all he had on hand were 245/40 for the front and 255/40 for the rear. Can't complain about meaty tires especially free ones. I don't plan on stretching 225s on 9.5 wheels either. Hopefully he gets a shipment of 35 series next month.

They're heavy compared to my autocross set of 17x8 SSR Type C. Takes forever to brake and almost rear ended someone :bonk:

18x9.5 +35 225/40 all around. I plan on going with the 10s in the back eventually

Oh, and OP. I've seen your car locally a few times, looks great! I also noticed the brake fade with these, but not nearly enough to almost rear end someone. And 225 is hardly any stretch on 9.5. I've done 215 on a 10.5 on my old STi with no issues. The 225 on 9.5 is a hardly noticeable stretch and fits just right in my opinion!

Yeah thanks! To be honest I prefer some meat on my wheels especially considering boost down the line!
