I looked at the wheel database and the xxr thread and searched the first 5 pages of the wheel thread for 535 topics and found nothing. Anyone try these yet? Pics por favor! Thinking 245/45/18 all around on these?

they are less than appealing in narrow sizes but .. hey the price is right.

I would love this rim in a 17x9.5. NLmotoring shows them still for pre-order only. are they even out offically?

jacobzking 06-03-2013 06:20 PM

Maybe that's why no one has them :)

infinite012 06-03-2013 07:32 PM

Pre-order only, looks like.

Bumping this, because I just ordered some! Got the 18x7.5 +38 for the front, and 18x8.75 +35 for the rear, in chromium black. Took alot of phone calls to different vendors because no one seems to carry them (yet), before I finally just called XXR themselves. A very nice lady there named Adrianna helped me out with a direct line with one of their local vendors who hooked me up.

About $700 shipped for all of them. Thats a fantastic price, I am BEYOND stoked. I'll post pictures whenever I receive them.

XXRs in FR-S/BRZ fitments are getting harder to find because of the crazy demand. Adrianna went above and beyond to help me too. I'm going to take a wild guess that she located these at sgmotoring haha. Now this is an example where 5 holes look better than 10. ;) Though 5-spokes aren't my thing, I won't bash it... these wheels look mighty tasty on the 86.

These look nice. I'd choose XXR only if they're a bit lighter..

Ammonia 07-26-2013 04:00 PM

The 535s are decently light according to xxr. Ill weigh them when they come in, they were shipped today

XXRs aren't necessarily "heavy." Compared to other cast wheels, my 527s are lighter than some comparably sized OZ Racing, Enkei, and even Rays Gram Lights wheels. That said, there are some surprisingly lighter cast wheels out there.

255/35/18 Rear / 225/40/18 Front, Federals.

Natural camber in the rear. No rubbing at all! Pretty much a plug+play setup when lowered 1.4" on Tein S-Techs.
