What's an advanced key?

What I'd really like is a key that flicked open out of it's housing (the housing would also contain the lock unlock and boot release buttons) So that I don't accidentally scratch the door while holding my keys and having hands full of stuff.

also you can purchase trunk opener from subaru / toyota and have that installed with advanced keys.

On my car it comes with it. It is next to that holding area at the bottom of the control centre of the car. But you can probably put near your dashboard or around your steering wheel somewhere :)

I'd be keen but am pretty much broke until next year. Didn't know you could get these so thanks for the info! I'm going to hunt them out again next year when I have the $$ :D
