GT Covers seat cover installation...
 

I got a set of the Eundura GT Covers because of the way a stiff former Jarhead like me has to slide into the car. I'm going to wear out a section of the seat if I don't protect it. Also, the fabric is far less grippy than the OEM fabric and I like to be able to scoot around in the seat. Tried to install them tonight. There is a flap that is part of the stock upper seat cover back that wraps around the lower rear part of the seat and secured under the seat pan somewhere with bungees that needs to be detached as part of the installation. How do you detach that Goram flap? I fished around under the seat until I was in great pain trying to find the end points. They seem to be connected to the same part of the seat bottom that also seems to be an anchor point for some of the SRS airbag wiring or sensors. Does anyone have a pic of the bottom of the seat, or know just where (and how many points) that damn thing is connected at? Thanks!

I am experiencing the exact problem right now...eager to hear from those who have successfully removed that bungee band.

I did install some clazzio seat covers in mine and I've drawn in paint what you are dealing with the under the seat. Either way it is a pain in the arse. Red indicates the rubber band and the black indicates the metal. So you need to lift the rubber band up and over those two points.

Awesome, thanks! If feels to me as if there is some wiring trapped inside the bungees. Are those obvious "lips" or hook-dodads that you can feel for and know it when you find them? Just knowing that it's a one-piece cord is a great help. Once past that, it still looks like getting the seat bottom attached is going to suck!

there are two metal "hooks/Loops" under the seat and the strap just goes around both like in the diagram by tisbob. just use your hand and follow your seat flap until you feel you bungy cord. then with the cord between your fingers follow the cord till it ends (where it meets the hook) then grab it and pull it towards the foward of your car. eventually it will come off one hook. just do it again with the other side.

Getting on the cover's loops are much easier because once you figure out how to unhook the originals, the concept is very easy to understand

if all else fails you can always just unbolt the damned thing and do it that way lol
