While looking at the pics in the 1st page, I noticed that the LED lights right above the round fog lights are missing. Are those not standard in the japanese market?

ahh we're lucky then. Hahha.. Thanks!

Here are the pictures from my thread, they're not car porn like the rest of these pictures but they should give you a better idea of what the color looks like under different lighting conditions nonetheless.

Was there water on the lense of something? The only lighting conditions these help with are underwater lighting conditions.

I really like the lil LED up in the front ... not such a big fan of the fogs with it tho..
even tho I live in FOG city... I think the Premium model without fogs fits me just fine. |
Thanks to Hanzo, now DGM is being brought back to life in my color decision.
|
Great shots! I am sooo torn!
|
damn those pics look sexy up above
|
Is this the color with the most pearl/flake in it? What color rims would pop the most with this color? Gold? White? Bronze?
|
beautiful pictures :D thank you
|
Hanzo - you the man. Thanks for the pics!

Seeing the dark metallic gray in person I would say it's a bit too much darkness (at least indoor at the car show). It's dark, then black bumper trim pieces, then dark gray rim accent, then black interior. The car looks mean but looks very dark, it doesn't pop very much in the indoor show floor. Might be better under sunlight.

Hanzo's HQ pics are outstanding.

Still undecided on the +35 or +45 :mad0259: |
|
Good god.... that is perfect looking. I feel like speed bumps would be your worst enemy but hell that looks amazing. If anyone else wants to chop some images of this color you would be my best friend and I will send any spare Karma your way!

Package will stick out 23 mm (0.9'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset. I think the +35 will fit... but I am not into the whole "hella flush" BS. I want that nice fitment that is almost flush, no rubbing, and not sunk-in either. I have a feeling the +35 will have a flatter face, while the +45 will have more convex shaped spokes. Still.... :mad0259: I just need to wait until I have the car and do the measurements based off the stock wheel to really know. :happy0180: |

i'm going with the +45 because i want some spoke definition/dimension... |
Does anyone know how much the stock wheel are sunk in from the fender?
EDIT: Good thing about 17x8 +35 is that the backspacing is about the same for suspension clearance. |
Beautiful! Would love it if you good also show the pf01 in silver that uspspro and I wish to get. Thanks in advance!

did these... not the best, but you get the idea...

as far as the rim color, out of what you suggested, probably Bronze. though I'm a crazy mofo and I'd say purple. |
No that is the problem there have not been any closeups of these colors while they are clean. Ya I think bronze would be a good way to go. That is what I have on the miata with but a little more gold and it looks sharp.
|
i don't know what it is, but i can picture bronze wheels on almost any exterior color BUT the dark grey... probably since it's less common compared to other colors like white/black/red that rock bronze...
|
Anyone what to Pshop some bronze rims on there? My free trial just wore out and I am still figuring out how to use Gimp or else I would.
