It's a great car to learn to drive stick on actually.
Nice looking ride! I just ordered a full LED interior light kit for my three year old DGM BRZ. I wish they had those nice keys from the start though. |
So I totally messed up and posted this on the FRS section... Woops. Anyways, was a nice deployment gift to come home to and just drive away with the title. Just need to find some nice wheels.

Went to Anaheim yesterday to have OEM Audio Plus install my Reference 450Q system - with DGM paint-matched subwoofer

Had my '16 BRZ Limited for a little over two weeks now... had the windows tinted last week and installed a Pioneer headunit in it myself this week. Still waiting for my plate in the mail.
Also have a pair of red Tom's taillights headed my way in the mail. Next mission is to find a set of 17 or 18" bronze wheels I like. I ran a set of 235/65-35-19's on my last car and I was always sweating bullets when I'd hit a pothole, so I definitely don't want anything that low-profile any more. I honestly like the size of the tires that came stock on the BRZ, but the tread pattern is not great and the wheel design is pretty ugly imo. Wouldn't mind them being 10-20mm wider too. Once I saw a newer Toyota Corolla S with the same damn wheels as my BRZ I knew I had to get rid of them. After that I'd like to get a set of coilovers installed to bring the car down about an inch to fill up the wheel wheels a little better. It looks like a toy at this height right now. http://i.imgur.com/93GI3mP.jpg Definitely LOVING this car so far... just as fun to drive as my '06 Boxster S was, with much better gas mileage and a more comfortable ride. I really like these wheels that were posted earlier in the thread... they remind me very strongly of an STI WRX style http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2...0_Snapseed.jpg Edit: Some exterior ascetic progress from the past week: http://i.imgur.com/5mELcdc.jpg |

Did something whimsical/non-functional: Added an 'S' emblem to my trunk in the same position the TS emblem is placed. Since I'm not doing an STI or TS build, I decided to designate it my own model 'S', which I shall claim stands for 'shiumai, supercharged'...whatever. The S is STI pink and comes from the Subaru S204 trunk emblem, so at least it's a Subaru emblem.
