Online Ordering Horror Stories
 

About a month ago, I ordered a few parts online (via Ebay and a company website) in anticipation of receiving my FR-S. The Ebay items arrived one by one (clear side markers, Toyota emblems, Toyota key cover) but my order from Wek Sos Industries hasn't. I checked my email and saw that my order was received but haven't gotten any confirmation that my order was shipped. I tried to log back into my account on the Wek Sos website and was unable to. I made a new account and sent an email to customer service inquiring my order but as of 2 weeks, haven't had any reply. I checked my bank statement and saw that the amount of my order was taken out of my checking account. I sent another email and have no received any reply and because I didn't use Paypal have no way to get my money back. It's under $50 but its the principle of it.

Do you guys have any ideas or advice on how to get my order or should I just write it off?

Any advice or similar stories would be appreciated, thanks.

Russian bride arrived in a damaged box. Ad said she was a red head but the one in the box was blonde. Needless to say I returned that shit.

I bought Toyota center caps like 2 months ago from some random site I had found via Google, money took from account, never got anything in the mail. I've "emailed" them via the link they gave me on their site. No response.

Lesson learned... Do a little research before buying..buy only from trusted sites/good rating seller / call or contact them first.. if a price is too good of a deal sometimes you'll get jacked..

Sucks this happen to you.. Use pay pal next time if you can.. I use it all the time

chargeback? Call your financial institution about it and see if they can help out. They are usually quite helpful, even if you cannot get all of it back. GL sir!

My buddy also had some problems with that Wek sos company he order some lug nuts and it took like 2-3 months to get a set of lugnuts from them and they would never anwser they phone or emails.

i bought a strut bar from a gb in new york and the guy got my personal check no item sent.

1. don't trust people from new york
i never buy from anyone in new york

2. dont pay by check bank said youre SOL

You should pursue it legally even if its not worth the money. Committing a crime through mail is a federal offense. This guy scammed me on ebay but since I paid with a money order through mail he got fuked. He sent me an apology letter from jail and about 2 years later he sent my money back.
