MID A Check In-New People Intro here please-Lounge Thread
 

Since we are growing and we're getting new MID A members everyday, I thought we have a little check in for veterans that are returning and new members that are here introduce themselves. This way we can arrange meets and event more easily :)! and know where everyone is, feel free to use this thread to discuss anything with you're Mid A club members.

I'll Start I'm Zaku and I'm originally from Maryland, Rockville Area. Right now I'm in Alexandria, Va. I'm hoping to become a future BRZ Premium Owner.

Zaku ive been reading here for awhile, just registered today. Where do you have your deposit down? I'm #2 at Beyer and thought you might be the guy ahead of me.

Edit- maybe not, the guy ahead of me is getting a limited and I see you're getting the premium like me.

Looks like I'm just behind you in the Beyer list, GMU. I'm #3, hoping for a DGM Limited.

Seems like Mid A club members are all Subaru barely any FRS owners, but im sure the kids will show up once the car is out.

Ya, the BRZ is clearly the nicer looking of the two, imo.

Have you guys heard of this Feb, 27-28th dealer order date? I'm trying to figure out if this is just dealer talk or a real date from SoA. I'm working with Fitzgerald in Gaithersburg; #1 on the list and they said 28th the order portal opens. Anyone else hearing this from their dealership?

I just emailed my sales guy at Beyer, will let you guys know what I hear.

Which Sales guy did you get? was it Matt from beyer? because that guy is on the forum with us lol When I spoke to him about deposit he told me 4 people are already on his list. That was about a week ago, seems like if I want to reserve I'm not gonna be first orders anywhere, might as well wait some more.

Yeah it's Matt, actually contacted him after I saw his thread here. Went in that weekend and left the deposit. I'm also on the unofficial list at Stohlman, 7th there, but they weren't taking deposits so it's hard to tell how many serious buyers are actually ahead of me.

Matt confirmed the 27th is the order date, tentatively.

As far as who I heard the portal opening date from: Fitzgerald Scion and Ed Rucker @ Annapolis Subaru.

Orbital, I live right behind the post office near MC and around that Big Giant in the center around the Asian Super Market. I grew up there XD I went to RM and everything but that was almost 10 years ago, I moved to Alexandria about 2 years ago but I will be going back later this year. What about you?

And If I pre order I think I might do it over here in VA because I wont be back in MD for quite sometime, I'll be gone out of country to Japan this summer too. So well see from there.

And yup decided on SSM BRZ, and still up in the air about Limited or Premium.

The other day I was debating calling up the Virginia dealers and seeing how they were doing/see if it was more economical to buy the car in VA.

I am also in Alexandria and bought my STi from Don Beyer. I am not yet on any lists for purchasing the car... I'll probably have a to wait a few years as I will be paying off the STi. I am just a fan of the car and will be in an out of here as I try to keep knowledgeable about it. :)

If any one is also on S2Ki I am e3opian over there, too.
