Anyway, thanks for the find OP! This stuff looks really good... I've always wanted to get bronze wheels but not sure if I would like it. I'll probably pick up a few cans of this to paint my current wheels first to see.

I wonder how this will hold up to track temps? I remember some people saying they had issues with plastidip and heat on wheels.

As long as your coats are even without bubbles, and you don't brush the wheels up on anything while its still hot from the track, there shouldn't be a problem.

AND if it does peel at the track, isn't that a great conversation piece..."yea, my car runs so fast that the paint on the wheels can't keep up!" :happy0180:

the true metallics supposedly don't need a base coat, but does anybody know if we need a base coat since our wheels are two toned?

I would recommend base coat.
