Sweet. Congrats on moving forward.

Was it your camera or the lighting, because I noticed some of the petals look blue?

BattleArmor 02-18-2012 08:29 PM

Wow, really lucky!

How big/small did it seem compared to what you previously thought?

Oh...that makes sense. Thanks

tranzformer 02-18-2012 08:31 PM

Lucky you. WRB looks great as usual.

neutron256 02-18-2012 08:40 PM

I want it! I hope my dealer gets one in soon.

I was taking pictures with my Droid Razr in 1080p mode that's probably why it looked like that

tachi1247 02-18-2012 08:51 PM

Nice. Love that color.

If anyone gets the chance, please, please take a picture with an adult sitting in front and then someone behind them in the back. I want to know how much room there really is in back. If this thing is like an audi TT and can't fit 2 young kids in back that is going to be a problem for me and a lot of others. No cross country journeys, but they need to be able to fit for going around town.

Have you seen the pics of the Asian guys sitting in the back?
One picture of 2 guys in front and 2 in fear. Then another picture of a man by himself in the rear. They are on the forum.

illmatic 02-18-2012 08:58 PM

Me too. Desi is awesome and easy to work with.

illmatic 02-18-2012 09:18 PM

86design, were you wearing a diamond supply shirt?

Funny you say that I went in the back and let me tell you I thought i wasn't going to fit but I did lol I'm 6' feet too....pushed the seat back and believe it or not I had probably 1 inch of room from my legs to the seat....also after seating down in the kinda comfortable seat my head was kinda touching the glass...so yes there is room....but staying back there for more then 4 hours...iiiiiiiiii don't think so

tranzformer 02-18-2012 10:15 PM

Did you find the limited seats comfy in front?

That's is very encouraging. Kids will be just fine, except for my oldest son who is 6'5".... Oh well, I know he really wants to be in the drivers seat, but that's not happening.

illmatic 02-18-2012 10:32 PM

Yup that was me. I'm assuming you were before me, as I placed a pre-order deposit after checking out the car. I guess that makes me #3?

Fortunate Few 02-18-2012 10:32 PM

Probably gonna check it out tomorrow.

Did you sit in the car? What did you think about the front seats?

MF_DEUCE 02-18-2012 10:58 PM

I got an appointment to see it tomorrow and if my dad happens to go ill have him sit in the front and me and the back (vice-versa). He apparently asked if i can test drive t as well, so ill see if thats true, and if so ill have one funn ass presidents day weekend! Whew!!!!

Cool. Happy to hear that. :happy0180:

BradBot 02-18-2012 11:43 PM

I noticed there are no steering wheel buttons. I still haven't decided if that's a good (convenient) or bad thing (looked tacked on).

Jah1mon 02-18-2012 11:45 PM

The limited trim is Defintely the best bet.

Having sit in both the Brz and my 240sx, there is about the same amount of room in the back seat.

CSSM 02-18-2012 11:47 PM

Notice the "SUBARU" name badge on the back. Yesterday I noticed the same on the South African 86, which had "TOYOTA" spelled out. Now apparently there are 3 badges on the back. I hope Scion doesnt do the same

Would be odd if they didn't, don't you think?

That is a good thing.

ahausheer 02-18-2012 11:57 PM

SWEEEEET. I live about 2 min from them, Im def there tomorrow with pics of the back seat if I can get my wife to go with me or if other people will be there. This is so cool, I can actually sit in one and feel the wheel etc etc.

Faksnima 02-18-2012 11:59 PM

Please, for whomever goes tomorrow or soon thereafter, please ask about the steering wheel buttons. I know it's not a big deal for many of you, I'd prefer the buttons.

There are no buttons. Won't be any buttons.

Zaku 02-19-2012 12:02 AM

It might be an optional thing, who knows well find out haha :D

illmatic 02-19-2012 12:04 AM

The front seats are great. As supportive as my 02 wrx seats.

I think transformer is right, maybe at initial release, but Subaru did state they were going to partner with Aha radio, but no specifics on the release date of that option. In the video showing the Aha radio, buttons are clearly on the wheel.
So maybe...
