Budget Wheel Thread! post pic/specs please <$999

sorry if there is something like this out there already, but I'd like to see some sub thousand dollar rims (yeah, i know, Rotas, Varstoens, Drag...). so if you paid less than a G for your rims NEW (minus tires) post a pic and specs!

Ebay, 18.4lbs each, 17x7.5, +40 offset, concave. They are good enough for now.

Sure, I love doing research for other people

Kosei K4R ($800)
17x8 +36
<16 pounds

Rota Titan, TC105N knockoff
17x9 +42
Light...I can't remember the actual weight, around 17 pounds. Still worth getting the real thing instead of these.

Enkei RPF1's, PF01's, Kosei K1, BBS RK etc.

I got 17x9 Enkei RPF1s for $1060 shipped from tire rack. That's only $61 over your budget.

I also have 17x9 Rota Grids that were around $750

I like 17s :D

Those black rota grinds look bad ass.

Thats probably so many options so scattered brained on what to spend the money on for wheel purchase

Mrqb22 05-29-2013 02:51 AM

XXR has nice looking wheels IMO 17 or 18 inch. Depending on tires you could probably get wheels and tires for just above your budget give or take a few hundred dollars

Rota - check out www.wheeldude.com for a bunch of Rotas
Drag - www.discounttires.com
XXR - www.nlmotoring.com
