Door speakers don't work after HU upgrade

I checked the amp fuse under the dash, have the antenna plugged in and hooked up. Only get noise from subwoofer in trunk and dash/rear speakers. Is I possible another fuse is blown? PLEASE HELP!

BigJyoungblood 05-28-2013 07:26 PM

So the "amp" fuse under drivers side is not blown, I tried the antenna wire attached to the pwr ant and to the rem wire for the deck, and neither worked, I think when I initially started up the deck I had my old remote wire(to my sub amp) looped into the new harness and to the old harness, does anyone know if this will blow a fuse and if so which one?

Also: my sub amp works fine, just no door speakers. Please please please help!!!!

So I changed the Amp fuse and the Radio fuse and the Dome fuse, wasn't any of them, everything BUT the front door 6.5" speakers is operational. Please help. Currently have the. Rem wire with the bypass rem wire and my sub amp rem wire and the pwr ant all together. Still didn't work. Even the bypass works fine.....

The front dash and door speakers are ran through the factory amp in the rear trunk. I need more information on how you wired the front speakers? Are your running the speakers off a amp or off the deck? Did you splice into the factory harness or did you cut the wires. Lots of things going on that could cause this.

Did you blow the stock amp?

I have one amp for my subs and the deck to power the speakers. Before installing the deck I had my remote wire attached to the brown wire behind the dash, worked fine. I currently have 1 amp for my subwoofer and the front speakers are plugged into the metra kit. I wired the metra kit up and My front 3.5" and tweeters work perfectly as well as my rear speakers and I have my remote wire, remote for my bypass, sub amp remote, and power ant all together and it still won't work(tried attached to the power antenna on the pioneer harness first but it didn't work). Subwoofer works fine(turns on perfectly) and my DVD bypass works perfectly, and everything else in the car is perfect.

What would cause my subwoofer amp to turn on fine, the bypass to work fine, and my top dash speakers work fine but not the door speakers if the remote wires are plugged in together?

What do you think would do that?

The 6.5 in the doors are like sub woofers and are wired through the factory amp. The door speakers will only work if you run sound through the factory amp or rewire the door speakers to your deck.

did you wire the harness correctly? sounds like a wirring issue.

Then how do you get the sound to go to the amp? I have the Front Speaker wires on my harnesses all plugged in and that's why all other speakers work. I am worried that when I plugged it in I blew a fuse or the factory amp because I think I messed up my remote wire initially but that shouldn't have enough voltage to fry the factory amp would it? Is there a good way to test my connections? Literally everything else works and I am so confused and very frustrated! Thank you for your help.
