Best Coilover Closest to Stock Ride Comfort?

hi, my gf purchased an frs and we bought some 18" rims so next phase is coilovers. she just daily drives the car so no need to extreme stiff or superior handling coils. just something $1k or less that will ride as close to stock as possible that are within that price range, looking for a soft ride and drop it about 1.5" at most. looking through this forum, i see BC racing being mentioned a lot, and these are the set i might go with. i saw they had a set of bc racing and 5k swift springs front and rear for sales in the classifieds. in terms of spring rates that will give the most softest ride closest to stock, is 5k/5k too weird of a setup? would i need something stiffer in the rear? thanks!

what spring rates are those?

Spring rate is not the only factor when it comes to ride quality. The quality of the damper also takes a huge part in this.

I second this. Been on this for a month already and absolutely LOVE it. My car is my daily driver so I didn't want to ruin ride comfort. The RSR kit on full soft is just as comfortable as stock, just a little stiffer than stock. Feels way more planted. The price may be out of your desired range, but trust me it will be well worth the money.

Why don't you get RCE yellows? Save money, get stock comfort levels and improve handling! I feel like for your GF this is the BEST Option

Stay far away from the Eibach R2s, unless you want to know what driving through a war zone is like.

So get it replaced via your warranty, then void the shit out of the warranty and get RCE yellows. Not a better option for the money out there.
